Presto is for the beginning pianist, whether they have had a year or so of piano lessons or no piano lessons at all. Presto teaches so much more than piano! We teach COMPLETE musicianship: vocal training, ear training, sight-reading, music theory, rhythm, music history, proper piano technique, and we do it in a fun, snappy style that tweens love! Most likely, those students who already have had a year or so of piano haven't studied all areas of music. In fact, they most likely have only dabbled a little in rhythm, have some note-reading skills, and developed some finger strength. We include an optional "challenge" section written into the Presto curriculum to satisfy the appetite of hard-working students and that of students who already have finger dexterity built from previous piano lessons.
This is a two-year program designed for kids ages 7-12. It is expected that students will participate in both years of the curriculum.

Cost of the program
Registration fee - $35 per year and is due at the time of registration. This fee covers miscellaneous items such as studio prizes, copies, end-of-semester gifts, sanitation supplies, etc.
Student materials fee is paid online directly to Let's Play Music each year at enrollment and varies each year. See materials and prices here
Class tuition is payable by year, semester, or in monthly installments to Miss Teresa. Tuition for Presto is $100/month (8 payments per year). Tuition includes the weekly classes, parent communication and training, use of all classroom instruments and teaching tools, and an end-of-year recital. We are dedicated to offering a superb and enriching experience each class session which includes not only instruction but emotional encouragement and healthy social interaction.
